Oakley was a contract worker at the former K-25 uranium enrichment plant in Oak Ridge when he was arrested in 2007 after offering the gear to an undercover agent. Prosecutors say Oakley took home classified equipment he was supposed to be destroying and tried to sell it to the French government.
